it has been a yeaarrsss since the karimunjawa post here in this abandoned blog :)

no need to wrote any reason yeah mate ? since i keep doing it anyway - abandoning the blog :p

anyway, two weeks ago i went to a waterfall around 1,5 hours from Semarang, if you still remember i live in this city :). at this place, you can do hiking, enjoy the waterfall and ofcourse camping. thats for ordinary people mate, but for extraordinary-adrenaline junkie - you can do rock climbing also !

that day, i spent whoolleee day with my dude sitting in front of the waterfall, cleaning the garbage, make the water flew smoothly to the river and after that sat enjoy the hot drink with newspaper that day.

any way, he was not so in to the outdoor activities actually, but i asked him to join me just to introduce something new for him. and as i guess before, he loved it hahaha

so i take him to the rock climbing area and show him little bit about bouldering. since i did not bring any climbing gear at that time.

this place actually a tourism place with young couple spent the day with. and you can find many waroongs here selling food and drinks. so you can came with bring nothing to drink or eat.

Karimunjawa !

It's been a while since the last post.. no.. wrong ! it has been a loooonggg timeee actually hahahaha

ok ok this one is the coolest thing so far i visited for the last year. I mean, i have been visit such a nice place man, but this one, i told you, this one is awesome !

karimunjawa ma men ! karimunjawa !

type that word on the google, you will find nothing complaints or negatives things about it from anyone went there already ! i'm not joking mate ! once you visit karimunjawa, it will be like a call from yourt heart to visit it again someday

i went there las week during the long weekend from saturday - monday. it was a perfect time and not perfect time also hehehe confussion huh ?? perfect time i mean that on saturday there is a ship depart from Jepara to Karimunjawa and come back on monday again. okok i will start slowly..
karimunjawa located to the north part of java island. takes approximately three hours from Semarang by super jet boat to reach this magnificent islands. if you don't get ticket, do not worry. you can reach this beautiful islands from Jepara also. you can take two hours bus from semarang to jepara and take six hours ship there.

anyway, i will not tell you about how to go there. as i said before, type karimunjawa in google and you will find ten thousands information about this. so i willtell you probably something different.

i visited this islands more than five times mate and not so much different except now already soo many homestay and hotels. it is good for the local economic since many of the fisherman for example renting their boat for visiting islands to the tourist, if they do not go to the sea to catch the fish as their main activities. but in the other hand, i quite do not like hearing things like now we have to pay if we want to stop and enjoy menjangan kecil island. three years ago i went to this island and still free ! now because there are small rented cottage, we have to pay if we arrive in this island even we don;t stay at their cottage ! and i still remember that six years ago there is a sea turtle pond ! because of soo many tourist visit, no they are gone ! poor sea turtle...

Long island

very very very long time no see huh ? so, i will notsay anythings for further. since i know also that you guys will not give a damn about it hihihi

This is Pulau panjang. a small island near with Jepara, one of district in Central Java, Indonesia. Pulau panjang is not like karimunjawa or bali or any island that a paradise for the diver maniac, but Pulau Panjang is one of alternative for those who want to enjoy a white sand, blue ocean and bird watching in tight periode of holiday.

Pulau Panjang located only 2,5 hours from semarang. 2 hours by bus to jepara and using boat takes approximately 20 - 30 minutes. moreless. ok ok ..be patient.. that was a picture when i went there with my girlfriend for a 1 day holiday hehehe.

we took a motorbike and rock the road in the morning. spent the time in the island for a day and comeback to semarang in the 4 pm. so, it is really reasonable to take a one day trip there. some activites you can do there :

1. snorkeling, ok it is not as bloody amazing with karimunjawa, but still is a snorkeling in blue ocean and some part of the island still have a nice coral

2. sun bathing :p

3. bird watching.

4. fishing, and

5, camping.

during my university time, i visited this island pretty often. hmmm let see..7 or 8 times hahaha

at least, if you are in camping, you still can find a natural atmosphere in that lonely time. do not worry about the toilet, since there are a mosque in the island and 2 or 3 toilet also. you can find a lighthouse also and 2 0r 3 people stay there.. if you are lucky, they probably will take you to the top of the lighthouse.

Van Der Wijck Fortress

hi all !!! seems like year no see with all of you dude !!



Sorry for saying these but i have been sooo damn distract with many others things lately. I have been doing several things that take my breath away hehehe..i know you want to vomit reading this lame excuses but that is the things ma men :D



Any way, i have been to this place hmm about 3 or 4 days ago and i found it interesting also. even though this is not part of usual posting i did such as mountain and nature, but i think putting it in is not a sin at all. since i found this quite interesting to talk about.



The name is Van Der Wijck fortress. it was establish around 1808.. I found it interesting because i know the monument in thounsand kilometres from this fortress exist. The van der wijck ship had an disaster in the sea and it was around the Lamongan, east java. and the fortress is in central java. probably the fortress was set up long time before and the ship name came out from this fortress.

Anyway, i really like to structure. probably you can say it was common design of a fortress but i think it is the colour of the fortress is also interest people to take a picture. I imagine that those who interest in photography will enjoy this place to create an art picture.

This picture is in the inside part of the fortress and it is remind me of colosseum in Rome even though i have not been there hahaaha i just saw it on the tv or magazine. i just regrets the un clear blue sky that noon. and also i am not a professional photographer hehehe

Mt Merapi

Yuhuuu !! can you hear me guys ?? hehehe it is a sound from a mountain :)..yesss it is very great feeling if you stand on the top of the mountain with a bright sky and shout at loud.. it is like letting go all the bad feeling in your self..

Anyway, here is the picture taken from one of the Kali Kuning camping ground. i have told you right dude that Kali Kuning is the camping ground really near with Merapi Mount. and this picture showed that from on of the angle of this camping ground, you can enjoy the view of merapi quite close. and you can enjoy it by sitting near by the clean river and fresh air on you feet and your face..or you can also by taking a shower on the river..

I will not able to tell you much about this magnificent volcano this time. since i have not found the right photo yet to describe it. The last time i went to this mountain, it was 3 years ago and at that time i took many pictures but i probably have lost it hahaha since i move to another boarding house not long after that. and i also still hanging on my own opinion that i still want to put my own picture in this blog rather than use and take picture from internet =).. but i have already make a plan to go to this awesome volcano again like in the end of this year since it is going to be a loooong holiday :)..heheheh

There are, as far as i know, 2 normal route to reach this mountain. First from this track, a village near with Kali Kuning camping ground. but i heard that this route is taking too long walking to reach the top. and the other route is from central java which is more popular since it its less than 5 hours to reach the top. I climbed this mountain two times from the same track started from central java.

I just can tell you that, this amazing volcano is the most interesting mountain to climb. i mean..i went there two times and still.. i felt "cold" in my neck when i reach the pasar setan area.. it is really a very ..i don't know ho w to describe it dude.. trust me i don't just provocate you to climb this but you just need to experienced it by your self..

pack your backpack and go to merapi mount..

Blue Sky

Well well ma men..long time no see hehehe

It has been a hectic days dude and i have been out of city often..i just came back from Solo ( it is really a very nice city with its own bicycle track ! ) and it is a meeting day theme..yucky opening paragraph right ? hahaha i just want to share my feeling dude =)

Anyway, i just having a very nice camp with one of my best friend..call her sista hehehe..she just send me an instant message via messenger asking whether i have an agenda that night. is not, she asked me to accompany her to Kali Kuning camping ground to enjoy the beautiful night right after worked ! what a spontanious ! and since i did not have any things to do, i said yes ! hehehe and after pack my sleeping bag and jacket and some important things for camping, i am ready to light my fire on the beautiful Kali Kuning camping ground. did i mention that i have already posted some little information about this campsite ? i think i have posted it right ? check it out dude ! hehehe

So, after around 1 hour drive by motorbike on the dark night, we arrived and soon after taking care the motor bike, we went to the camping ground.

It was friday night and bright sky. No other team camping there. It was totally ours ! so soon, after we set up a camp, we ended talking and enjoying the time by dinner. a very special dinner. sate ! and coffee ! man.. you should feel the camping experience once and then you will addicted on it !

And in the morning, i found this damn blue bright sky right before we went to the very clear water on the river and taking a water party hahaha

View from the Top

This is a view from Mt Ungaran, at one of the track to the top from Promasan village track. i took this right before the bad weather block the amazing view. before the blue bright sky disappear from your eyes. i took on the right moment. i guess..

as i told you before that ungaran mountain was not so high but it is still give oyou a different experience once you were there. i mean, if you enjoy the beautiful promasan village after, and then you want to reach the top in the morning for sunrise, you will find the track will be little bit hard and still take your breathe away. since it is not as big as Slamet or Sindoro, it means most of the time you will face the hard track and there is no flat track hehehe but fo not worry ma men.. many great places to take a rest and if you discipline enough, you will reah the top less than 2 hours from Promasan village.

along the way, you can enjoy the view of tea plantation and small hills and of course the Promasan Village too. and at one of the resting place, you will see the whole area of the tea plantation. it is great dude..really really spil your eyes..

And once you reach the top, you will be able to see the other side of mountain area..

so, i still always fall in love with this mountain. when will we meet there ? hahaha
